Default 2010 Roll Call

I think this will be a short thread. There only 229 2010 Lexus SC 430. How many belong to forum members? I know the mirrors have both turn signal lights and puddle light which no other model has and the significant change Is audio/video. The nav is HDD and the CD changer Is now DVD/CD changer, it has Bluetooth audio (Internet radio), iPod connector,XM radio, and USB outlet.

I'm going from my 02 SC to the 2010 and while I upgraded the head unit to the Bluetooth pioneer in my 02, I'm looking forward to not having a washed out screen with the top down.

I don't have a lot of plans with mods other than luxlink, moving my Lexus spare tire kit from the 02 to the 10, and replacing the runflats. Oh, the excitement!!!

I hear you. From the time they came out, I've waited patiently for the right one to come along. I wasn't about to pay the new car price and used ones were not that much of a deal. They only made 329 of them, so they are really hard to come by. I've never seen more than 4 for sale COUNTRYWIDE. California dealers typically ask way to much for them. Right now there one at a dealer for $63K! I don't know whose paying that, but it won't be me.

Who would not want the last of the series with the upgrades. It will be a while before they start going down in price. A brand new one was $70kish?

Stupid price-Yes, but you underestimate the number of stupid people. Lol. However, stupid people should not be allowed that much money.

Now I'm curious. At what price paid for a 2010 SC430 can the purchaser be considered stupid?

Perhaps it's a continuum, like $10k = brilliant, $20k = smart, $30k = average, $40k = mildly retarded, $50k = just plain dumb, $60k = stupid, $70k = drooling idiot.

I suppose it comes right down to a matter of personal opinion. To each his own.

Sheesh...........you guys have it lucky. In down under Australia, the 2010 SC 430 was around $180,000. In international terms, the Aussie dollar is no slouch and recently reached almost parity with the Greenback.

I am currently selling my 2005 SC (asking $49,000). It was a $160,000 dollar car here when new.

'Not sure, but in two words 'too high'. I am sure the price was reflective of a number of factors. It is what it is.....................sigh
