Great find. Reminds us all of the genesis of our cars in the early years.

That's not really a review, but just a description of the vehicle and its equipment. In fact, it reads like it was copied from the brochure or from Lexus press releases. The fact that it is from a publication called "Lexus Media" should be a clue that this is neither objective nor a review.
The actual reviews in the automotive (and mainstream) press, however, were quite favorable, and bear looking at, should anyone have that kind of time.
I was on the waiting list for 18 months for the first SC430, which I still own, so I followed all the press at that time, and I have the magazine pages from the Road & Track and other reviews in my file for this car. Generally, the reviews were very favorable and quite complementary, although the styling change from the SC400 to the 430 was a lot for some to get used to, and the original wheel covers were the subject of some unflattering comments. Overall, though, the car was well received.
One should always be careful not to confuse marketing material with actual and objective evaluations.
