Default Tranmission Cooler and Cooling Plate

Among misc. mods done this year was a B&M Transmission Cooler [Automatic Transmission Super Cooler – 14,400 BTU rated – 11″x6″x1-1/2″] . I purchased directly from B&M and selected the thicker but smaller frontal area transmission cooler, and installed in-line with the OEM transmission cooler. My shop did a central, inclined mount in front of the radiator. Good protection for the radiator especially for track days.

Also installed the Carbing Cooling plate. How do you like the look of the carbon fiber?

Is that CF wrap, looks very nice. I have an Ingen polished intake and Carbing polished STB, so it matches the original color of the cooling plate. If not, I definitely would have gone CF or straight black. Looks like you're running out of bolt-ons, time to go FI

Nice! I have a polished STB from Cusco but the Carbing plate was AL and not polished so it didn't match. Yes CF carbon heat forming wrap.

Prepatrng for brake and suspension upgrades for 2014 and others misc items. I'll probably put on spacers to bring the wheels out flush too.

Hey Greg,
I just noticed your write up about the Carbing Cooling plate.
Does it actually work and reduce temps?
Where did you get it and how much?

Thanks Buddy!

If you are referring to the temps in the engine compartment I don't but that isn't the purpose. The engine water temp stays constant even when I have it floored in the track ... The purpose is to help push more air through the radiator as well as the OEM cold air intake. What I need to cool off the engine compartment are some vents in the hood bit that's a whole different topic.
