Summer tire? All season? If your talking all season, I think the Michelin pilot sport a/s 3 is. If your talking a summer tire I like the bfgoodrich gforce sport comp 2. Michelin owns bfgoodrich. Straight up performance tire the Bridgestone re11's. I currently have all three of these on cars I own.

I would like to backup what Cole said about the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3s, I have been running them since early 2015 and they are fantastic tires!!!
I believe I spent about $850 installed, Discount Tire.

My COnti DWS on my summer set of rims were fine - decent tires, not the most expensive and they did the job reasonably well. They're down to 4/32s or 3/32s so they will have to go soon.

Hey Cole, thinking about those BFGs for my summer set of rims on the SC once March/April comes and I remove my winter set. Heard they grip well and corner well but can be noisy ? How many miles have you got on them ? Would you consider the all season version of the BFG G force comp 2 for the SC ? Costco has the A/S version but for some reason they do not seem to have the summer version.

Cole, what year jag do you have? A friend of mine has an '02 supercharged coupe.

03 s-type in British racing green, it's my sleeper. I took the mesh grill out. Put the classic vertical bar grill in. Put Dayton wire wheels on it. Looks very classic. Then rip a 5 second 0-60 mph. My wife hates the car she says it's an old man car. In classic jaguar both old and new including the f type. Lots of oversteer. They don't believe in dialing in understeer like most manufacturers.

AMAZING!!! His is the same green color! He purchased his a few months before I purchased my Trans Am!
It is a very beautiful car, his had 33k miles when he purchase it almost two years ago. I think he paid $16k

I have the g force comp 2's on my jaguar. I have had them a year and a half. The jag has the V8 supercharged engine. I had problems of give it even half throttle to get out in traffic, and the traction control takes over. On the jag that means it cut fuel to not just the brakes. I don't have that problem now. Braking is tons better too. I don't notice them being loud. Some of the talk about loud tires I think depends at times on the road it's self. The highway from Houston to college station. The road noise is loud no matter which car I am in. If I drove that road everyday and found a set that were quiet. I would probably call others loud. Now I know the Bridgestone re71's get loud as they wear ( have experienced). The bgs's I have not had that. For me the comp2's are a better fit than the as version On the jaguar.

So I did get the BFG non RFT and it was the g force comp 2 all season. Like they told me before at Costco, they could not get hold of the summer tires so all seasons was what they offered. But I like the tread pattern - looks aggressive. And after a rebalance, they perform pretty good. Better cornering than on my Conti DWS though slightly greater road noise. Feels like braking performance is better too but that may be because my DWS were pretty old. Steering sensitivity is now higher too - almost twitchy but I think I will get used to it. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

I also will backup both Cole and BGW, the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3's are great non directional tires. Soft, quiet with excellent traction in wet conditions, in addition to much better than average tread life.
