Default Pickup up our 2006 SC430

I have been looking for a SC430 for some time, finally found the car I wanted. 2006 White Gold Pearl with Saddle interior, chrome wheels with a spoiler. I live in Colorado and the car was in Atlanta. Did the fly and drive, made it in three days fighting "Walda" in Texas, but outfoxed the storms hail.
What a great car, I don't recommend getting used to it on a 1600 mile road trip, but I can't think of a better vehicle to drive.
Another three days of snow forecast for the front range, but this weekend looks good for some miles.

Slingshot1, welcome to CL. I could have met up with you when you did your pick up. Tell us more about the car and better yet, post pics.

Yours is White as well as mine.

Enjoy your SC!

First let me say Welcome to CL!

Did you buy the 2006 White w./chrome rims with 21,000 miles on it that was listed at Momentum Motorcars? If so it is a beauty!

I bought my Red/Ecru 2008 from them and it was immaculate. They were also very easy to deal with. I had them ship mine to me.

EDIT: IF THAT'S THE ONE YOU BOUGHT, It looks like it has Ecru carpet mats. I SUGGEST THAT YOU BUY NEW BLACK CARPET MATS FOR IT FROM SEWELL LEXUS. THEY ARE $81 FROM SEWELL LEXUS WITH THE CLUB LEXUS DISCOUNT. THEY LOOK MUCH BETTER and STAY CLEANER THAN THE LIGHTER COLORED ONES ON THE CAR.

ALSO, THE INTERIOR ON THAT CAR IS ACTUALLY NOT SADDLE BUT CALLED CAMEL. SADDLE IS A DARKER BROWN, MORE LIKE A BASEBALL GLOVE.

See below. Saddle is in first picture and Camel is in second picture below.

Wow, that's Camel? Different from Ecru right?

I would love the Camel or better yet the Saddle on my WGC White car. Ecru is so easy to dirty up.

True! But it looks so great when its clean. I had my '02 redyed a year ago and it still looks great. Like you though if I had a choice, I like all except black. At first, I didn't like the light wood, but now I really like it. White gold is still my favorite color, followed closely by red.

And slingshot1 welcome to the best car forum in the world. You found the best car and now you found the best forum. There is no end to the great advice that I've taken from this forum. From my luxlink to my purchase of wheels from a forum member to my rear Taillights (led) also from a member-and this list goes on and on. Enjoy the good life-you found it

Yes, Ecru is lighter. Look at the second picture. It looks like it has Ecru carpet mats. You can see they are much lighter than the Camel carpet it is protecting.

Camel is best described as the color of coffee where someone added a lot of milk.
Saddle looks like a brand new baseball glove.

My Silver SC430 with Saddle is in the first picture. It's very impressive. My Red SC430 has Ecru interior. It has managed to remain very clean.

Picture order:

Saddle
Camel
Ecru

Ecru is hi maintenance for sure but nothing that a good leather cleaner and conditioner cannot handle. Keeps the leather supple too so I have learned to live with my Ecru interior. Would not purposely buy this color if I was special ordering this car though. Both my other cars have black leather - makes it easy.

Welcome to CL Slingshot ! This is the best online car community I know of.

Default Thanks for the welcome aboard

I did purchase the car from Momentum Motorcars, they made it the easiest vehicle purchase ever!
I knew the floor mats were not the right match, Thanks FLYCT for the info, I'm going with the black ones. I was a little leery about buying without first seeing the vehicle, but David and the Momentum crew are to be trusted, what they say is what it is.
Still snowing here in Colorado, pics as soon as I can get outside.
Thanks again...

Wow I did not realize that maybe, just maybe we have a decent seller around Marietta that can be trusted for used cars. I have gone through their Inventory and am impressed. Your car is still featured but announced SOLD. Nice catch. And their locations is about 5 miles from where I work.

Congrats again.

Slingshot1, will David give me a deal? My daughter is in the hunt for a car.
