I installed the "Sprint Booster" to address this issue. It really helps.

I installed the Apexi. Works well and I liked that it has more settings than others and keeps them selected when you start your car again. Naturally, I use only one setting... Also very easy install!

I used the blitz model paid $ 351.00 . I like it very much. In fact I prefer that it defaults to off when car is shut off and then when you restart you have to make a conscience decision to turn it back on. Also when I usually restart my car I am going in reverse and the blitz unit should be off. Don't need a real sensitive pedal in reverse.

My two cents

Resetting the ECU is typically very effective. I'd try that first before making modifications.

If you want to reset the ECU without losing your seat and stereo settings,
perform the following procedure:
1. Get in your car and insert key. (It doesn't matter if you close the door or not.)
2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position.
3. Press the gas pedal to the floor.
4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position
(don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.
5. Wait 2 minutes.
6. Remove key.
7. Done

Purchased a Sprint Booster yesterday...it came in today...I installed it in about 2 mins. I'm very happy with the results.

Thanks for the peer pressure

Can somebody tell us more about this booster? How much and how is it installed? What does it do anyway?

I just down shift to 3rd and turn on my ECT to get the boost I need every now and then.

all I know is that lexus have a lag when you step on the gas. it like a dead spot it removes it, that all it dose nothing else as far I know. there is no rods that open the gas, if there were you would not have a lag.
