Unhappy Cap on the fog light backside

I have a 2002 SC430. I just bought it in September of 2015. The car is in excellent shape and only had 71,000 miles on it when I got it. After a month, if found a few things that concern me. First, my drivers side fog light was out and I was in the process of replacing it to find there was NO bulb in the socket and what made matters worse was there was no cap on the back of the fog light either! The fog light carries a H3 light that has a single blade power lead that should plug into a female slot inside the socket somewhere but I didn't find that either. I found the power lead that has a gray connector at its end. Can someone tell me where the female plug is as well as where or how I can get the cap that has the matching socket for the gray lead?

Would it be one of these? I'm not real familiar with the parts you are referring to.

I have a pair of fog lights for sale. I can post the photo tomorrow if that would help to identify the part and if you need the replacement (which I believe comes as a full unit from Lexus, Number 1 on the diagram linked above), I would sell you them. Feel free to contact me on my cell, 816.304.7399.

...ok Blackwing I'm trying to remember this off the top of my head...lol...if I remember correctly that female plug should be coming from a harness that is connected to your front sidemarkers. You may have to take off the cover under the car to locate it & it should be somewhere in the fenderwell. Also, the socket that you slide the bulb into, should have a springclip that holds the the bulb into place....

I found a web site for South Atlanta Lexus that sells parts online. They were very helpful with the part number. Just gave them a call, got the correct part number, entered it into their web site search and ordered. Got it in a week. Fits perfect!
