Default Wall Street Journal

All SC430 owners might want to check out the "Personal Journal" section of Wed's Wall Street Journal to see if your favorite car is mentioned.

Look for a little story in a box.

Default WOW !

You looked into the future?

The article shows up tomorrow (Wed).

PS: What's an NSX? Is that the little Accura deal? Do they still make that? It's a pretty zippy little car, from what I hear.

What's an NSX ?? You never heard of it ??

It's only the one of the most exotic sports cars ever made ! Mid engine, all aluminun body, 300HP, 3,000 pounds. It's comparable to a Ferarri only as dependable as a Honda ! They're hand built in Japan at a special factory. The engines are hand assembled by ONE specialist.

How dare you say you never heard of them ! Yes, they still make them.

I was being fasicious when I referred to my "favorite car"...

Check out NSX on the net T.

Default It's too easy.

The easiest way to pull the chain of a car guy is ask, when he tells you what car he drives, "What's that? Is that the thing Dodge used to make?"

Works every time.

Yes, I really do know what an NSX is, I know they come (almost exclusively) in black and red, and I would love to have one but can't afford it. It's regarded by many to be the best handling road car ever made, and the new model is even better.

But it does not have a nice back seat like my SC430.

NSX? ...
That 's not a car, that's the noise people make when they snore.

Ed,

Once again I say..........BITE ME !!

How ya doin' buddy ? What's the snow situation up there ?

You're right T...no back seat at all. My wife HATED it !! She refused to even ride in it because she was terrified...........too low.........too fast...too light..........engine was right behind her head.........etc. etc.

Mine was Grand Prix Whitw with a black interior. It was a thrill to drive and beleive it or not, very civilized around town. I love my Lex also..........lot's of class and comfort and I can fit my little pooch in the back seat and know that he's safe.

So, what'd the article in the WSG say about our cars ?

Default Not much

The "article" in the WSJ was just a feature story, and smaller and shorter than usual.

It's nothing, really.

If you haven't seen it, you haven't missed much.

Well, Larry, last year I took the plates off and cancelled the insurance (except for comp) and kicked myself because it was such a mild winter I could have driven that beauty many times.

This year I left the plates and insurance on and I've driven it ONCE since Thanksgiving. The plates are coming off this week.

grrrrrr

Watch Ed, as soon as you take off the late we'll hit 70 degrees.
