02 SC 430 Driver's Side Door Won't Open from Inside
Locked my keys in my car. A locksmith came and instead of using the tool to unlock using the unlock button, he just pulled the regular lever inside with the tool to open the door while it was locked. Since then I cannot open the driver's side door from the inside. It will open, lock and unlock fine from the outside. It is unlocked when I attempt to open it from the inside. I pull the lever and nothing happens. I have to unroll the window and open the door using the outside handle or crawl over to exit from the passenger side door. Any suggestions to fix are very appreciated. TIA. MKJinTX

It appears that it thinks it is still locked. Try unlocking using the remote. Or else, disconnect the battery to re-set.

Had similar problem. It turned out the cable between the inside handle and lock came off. Perhaps the locksmith "unhooked the cable" when he open the door. Just a thought.

The locksmith had to dislodge the pushrod cable from the lock, This happened to me once when I had taken door panel off and disconnected the cable. When I reassembled the door i did not seat the cable all the way I. Had to take panel off and correct
