Default Assistance on Changing Springs

I did my search on the forums and I could not find any threads on changing the springs. I want to install lowering springs and I am wondering if this is doable by me w/o a professional.

HAs anyone done this and can you point me to an instructional. If you think I need to turn it over to a professional given the complexity please let me know

Bacardi:

Thanks for the quick response.

On some cars the springs slip out without needing to be compressed and some need to be compressed before removal. What about for the lexus springs

the lexus springs are part of the shocks assembly and you need spring compressor. I use the Swift Springs but my drop is only .8 front and .6 rear. I worry about tire ware.
