In July in the Dallas area, we often don't see the temperature drop out of the mid 90s(degF) until well past 9 PM, sometimes 10 PM. It rarely gets below 82 or 83 (degF) before the sun comes up the next morning and starts warming up again. Typically, we only see about a 20 to 25 degree drop from the day's high to the morning's low, unless it is really dry out and then it may drop about 27 or 28 degrees. Yep, it gets quite warm here in the summer with a large number of days having a high of the mid 100s and occasional forays into the 110s (degF again).

Wow Harold that is some heat. I don't think I could take that being used to UK weather.

Two weekends ago I took my wife to the airport at 3am and it was 73 degrees outside.
Unheard of at this time of the year in London. Just a freak weather front.
Two days later it it was back to 50 degrees!!!!!!

It has been 69 degrees here today, which is top down weather for me. I put the top down if it is dry and above 60 degrees, which probably means you have yours down all the time.

Best regards
Steve

If it is dry and over about 50degF, I'll drop the top (run the heat if it is too chilly). Once it gets in the 90's, my wife won't ride with me if the top is down, even with the a/c on. Something about not wanting to smell "fresh".

Harold I'm with your wife...lol, I won't drop mine too often when it get's in the 90's.I work outside in this Dallas heat all day, so all I want is some air conditioning when the day is done.I usually wait until the sun goes down, before the top drops !!!

We seem to get around 325-350 in our '02. I'm not complaining. I hardly drive it like an old man!

Hmmmmmm....I must be the exception, I run my tranny in the Power mode and always have a 410+ mile range at fillup. I've checked the on-board with manual calcs and it is spot on....I'm gassing up tomorrow and will snap a pic.

Wow. When I fill up, that "Range" number is about 323.
I think your settings in the NAV used to estimate time of arrival must be used in this calculation also. What are they? (Average speed: 25 mph? Average terrain: downhill? Average conditions: tailwind?)
Or did you add an auxiliary fuel tank and not tell us?

Quick Reply: What's your range approx. per full tank?
