Default HID's in the DRL/High beams

Has anyone gone to HID's for your DRL / high beams in an 02+ SC? I recently bought a set for my fogs, and a set for my DRL's. The fogs hooked up pretty painlessly, but I was told that my DRL needed capacitors which go inline with the ballast to stop "strobing." I ordered the set, and after hooking it up, the DRL still "strobed." I contacted the HID dealer again, and they told me I might need a wiring harness.

I wanted to know from those that have HIDs in their DRLs, do you remember how it was setup? Was there another wiring harness that was needed, or was it just a capacitor/ballast setup? Right now I have it running like this:

Power -> Capacitor -> Ballast -> Igniter -> Bulb
