I was saying I graduated in the top 20% in high school and now a 4.0 gpa in college. But I feel bad for whoring this guy's thread. Realbrees, buy both!!!

Surely, he is referring to top 20% from high school and the 4.0 is current achievement in his college years. Or maybe the 4.0 was only for the last semester. Either way, he's doing his thing in style, and apparently is a responsible young man for his parents to choose the SC as his purchase.

Depends on if you just want new springs, coilovers, or air ride. It goes from cheapest to expensive, in that order. Then some people have to roll or shave around the tires so there is no rubbing. A quick search and reading of the stickies will tell you what you need to know about lowering in and the best wheel fitment.

What an absolute "Mr. Suavey Continental!" Congrads young man--you can always tell those young ladies that they will get their chance AFTER you graduate from college, unless of course, you go on to med school or law school...oh and by hte way--the SC will NEVER disappoint you with her top down...roll on young sir!!

Slap some 20s on the SC, lower it, and there you go. My girlfriend was in awe when I first pulled up to her house in my new-to-me 2002 SC430 2 years ago.

The only bad thing about the whole opposite sex thing is that there is virtually no back seat in the SC
Yeah but you can fit a blanket in the trunk!

Agree. Decide what your needs are. I own both and couldn't be happier.

So I guess a "2.0" would put you on the custodian's list?

My first Lexus was an RX350. Very "practical", did well in snow, and yes was handy to go to Home Depot. But BORING. Sorry, great "soccer mom" car, if that's what you want. Also had a RAV4 which had the same practicality, but more fun to drive (same engine, 400 lbs lighter and much quicker throttle response). So I traded the RX for an IS F...

Second Lexus was the SC430. Beautiful car, definitely gets the "lookie lookie", but totally not practical. Ego car, but nothing wrong with that. Still have her, plan to keep her and repaint (see my thread on this if you care). Does need some performance upgrades, tho, as still slower on throttle than I'd like.

All depends on what you're looking for. Again, "apples to oranges". If you have another "practicall" car, I'd chose the SC.
