I could have bought an 04 red with black interior and 16,000 miles for $27,000. Old guy owned it (80's) and rims were pretty scratched up but otherwise, nice shape. I wasn't crazy about red/black and ended up with an 03 WGC (white) with 38,000m, one owner for 24k. Check cars.com for what's out there and you'll get a pretty good idea of value. Important thing is to make sure it wasn't wrecked or abused.

It might be around $30,000 or $35,000 if it is in great shape. My father use to sell for Lexus but is now a manager, and sold a 2002 with 4,000 miles for $29,900. And this is a 2004, so it may be worth more, if in perfect condition of course.

Be sure to check out the sticky at the top of the forum regarding buying a SC430. It is very informative.

I bought my 04 three months ago with44K for $21000. It was in perfect shape. Keep in mind regardless of miles the 04 will need the timing belt et al. service which costs about $1000. Good luck!

^too many miles! lol

I bought my indigo ink pearl (blue) 2004 SC430 for 30k out the door in December of 2010 with 8k miles on it. This is in Florida where convertibles hold their value year round for the most part.

might I add car was mint conidition with upgraded wheels, brand new tires and new lexus battery. Also took it to the dealer to see if the car needed a timing belt while it was under the warranty from the dealer I got it at (infiniti) and they told me the car was kept in an air conditioned garage or something because the belt was either changed or showed no sign of aging. Surprised me because they usually want you to dump money but im pretty tight with my SA.

The 8,000 mi. are nice but not an end-all to me. If you're looking to add miles it will eventually not have much of a miles premium. I've seen the updated 2006's for around $30 or even a little under. With that said $25 would be my cut-off point for this 2004.

no one is gonna sell a SC430 with 8k for that low unless it has issues, 29-31k is reasonable. A 2006 is very nice and I must say I would have gotten one with more miles over my 8k 04 but for the price of 30k+ in my area they had too many miles. When I purchased my car it still smelled new inside, no creases on the leather, mats were new, even the keys looked brand new.
