CarBra

Here is my original post from 1 1/2 yrs ago. Still very happy with it. My SC had NO paint chips in it when I had it done though. Best part was doing the headlights-no more yellowing!

I went into a Lexus dealership lately and saw a few CT200h with clear bras. I was a bit turned off by the swirls on the bra on a black CT200h. Are the swirls obvious with light colored paint? Also do the edge of the bra collect dirt and showing a dark line?

We have a clear bra on our other car whose color is a Toyota winter gray, the line on the hood where the bra begins is more visible was the car becomes dirtier. But the benefits of protecting the nose of the car from road debris far out weigh a line which for all intents and purposes disappears when the car is clean.
Even my wife, who is OCD regarding such things, understands the benefit of the paint protection film after seeing our son's car with no film, and 70k miles. His was driven mainly on SoCal freeways over the last three years and is filled with small pits and tiny chips in the black paint.
However there are no swirls on ours...makes me wonder if those you saw are in the underlying paint and permanent as long as the film is on the car.

If you go with Suntek or Avery Nano Fusion swirls marks will heal up. So you will not get any on the film.
