Lol, I once got in trouble with a moderator for posting links to stuff for sale...

It took over 2 months waiting for it to arrive though and when I bought it, it was a lot cheaper. In my opinion, my car is quite nice but the old key looked nasty on my keyring and didn't do the car justice, hours of googling found this... http://tinyurl.com/6v2gp5h

All you have to do is take out the stuff inside existing key and put it into the new case for a snug fit.

Did you cut the key blade or installed the old one?

There's an old thread (or two) about doing this also.

I got one of those about a year ago and it's holding up quite well. Only problem is the lexus logo on the back wears off easily, but overall a nice and inexpensive upgrade.

Yep free shipping too but I wasn't looking too hard - just went to the same ebay site as always.

Sorry for the late reply, Yes I got the key cut, It cost £5 or $8. no programming necessary . The complete cost of everything for me was $18 to have a complete working key (internals from old one)

The install took less than 2 mins.

**Great to hear the random thread was helped and helped so many also enjoy this simple upgrade.
