Default Need your suspension tuning help

I have an 06 SC430 with a suspension tuning issue...

When switching lanes I feel as if I'm towing a trailer, the rear end seems to follow a split second after the font end. The worst part is when switching lanes I have to correct in the opposite direction once I'm done to stop the car from making a 2 lane change instead of 1. This all started from the bushings and coilovers install.

I would appreciate any advice, I have my specs listed below...

Rims and tires
20x9.5 245/35-20 and 20x10.5 295/30-20

Factory bushings replaced with Daizen bushings
OEM Sway Bar Bushing Kit
Steering Rack Bushing Kit
Front Control Arm Bushing Kit

Car is also lowered approx 1-1.25 inches all around with BC coilovers and Sage RCA rear only.

Anyone have a copy of their alignment on a slightly lowered SC430?

1. Just a simple one to start with, are all the tires up at the right pressure ? A slow puncture would easily cause this problem, but you've probably checked and re-checked the tire pressures at this stage.

2. If you leave go of the steering wheel, is there a directional pull in the steering beyond what you would expect is induced from the camber of the road ? This problem also sounds like something is not tight IE something may have been overlooked upon the re-install process you detailed above. It's worth re-checking each bolt and nut individually to be sure.

3. Lastly, when you installed your bushings etc, did you perform the final tightning with the weight of the car on it's wheels, because if you tighten everything up with the suspension hanging from a 2 post lift, that can create unusual handling problem and can quickly destroy modified suspension components too.

Car is VERY tight, at 100mph there is no shakes or vibrations.

It is for sure a tuning issue, The car feels like it has toe out on the front and it's ready to jump into the next lane with the slightest off center steering movement but looking at the alignment it has toe in which I can confirm visually also.

Hi braheem

Don't know if will help you but this link https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...alignment.html shows my post which include my before and after alignment when I fitted Megan's and lowered it about 1"1/2.

Best regards
Steve
