Hello All.. newbie to this forum
#2
Welcome.
I'm relatively new (6 months) and can attest to the wealth of technical expertise that exists here. With information from this site I've:
changed my timing belt and water pump (really proud of that accomplishment!),
disconnected my tire pressure monitoring system and installed an aftermarket system,
changed front shocks,
tracked down the cause of an check-engine light (OK, I forgot to reconnect something after the timing belt job, but I sure learned a lot about Toyota/Lexus evaporative emissions system from posts here),
ejected a stuck CD,
discovered the Lexus site where I obtained the dealer service history of my used SC,
learned how to program additional keys and remotes,
how to get discounts for Lexus parts at Sewell Lexus,
and much more.
Want to report any specifics regarding your vehicle?
Enjoy!

Register and a link will appear called "My Lexus." Enter your VIN and you'll see any service performed at a Lexus dealership, or owner-performed service that was entered. Since I tend to do my own work I've entered my own maintenance and repairs into the record.

Wow! Never too late to learn a new thing, huh? Welcome...glad you made it! Let's see, you buy the car brand new in 2002 and you haven't ever needed to research anything on it in ten years? Amazing! We're glad you joined us even after ten years of ownership...never too late! Post some pics when you have a chance.

When you do a reply, enter your text like you have been so far and then scroll down to the next window called "Additional Options" and click on "Manage Attachments". Then you use the browse to find the picture files on your pc and download (upload?). It is pretty easy.
