Upgraded Sway Bars for SC430...
I was asked to check and see if anyone would be interested in upgraded sway bars for the SC430. Pricing would be $499 for a complete set front and rear, with urethane bushings.
Handling will be vastly improved over stock, and much more stable especially at highway speeds.
These would be hollow, so there would be no adverse effect with unsprung weight. Also not so stiff to affect ride quality.
If anyone is interested, please post now or forever hold your peace
This way cool car is pretty neglected as far as performance parts, so the SC430 sway bars were my idea
Just looking for a general show of hands at this point...

sway bars
Do you have these sway bars made already?
what's it made of?
Is it a 'DIY' job?
How much improvement in handing do you get?
Do you have any info on other upgrades? supercharger, exhaust, suspension mods ? ? ?
sorry, this should have been a PM. ... .
but i'm definitely interested in it !
thanks

Naw, public posting is probably better than PM for this thread...
Well for now, just checking to see if you would buy the sway bars. If there's enough interest, you'll probably see them on the market pretty quick here.
Basically, this means that this thread right here is going to determine if the bars go to production or not...so post away people!
I have heard that there might be a nice exhaust available soon as well
Lowering springs too
Wow the SC430 will be neglected no more!

Just get me a damn exhaust....lol HKS, GReddy, Apexi, Blitz.....not tom or mikes or franks shop. Yeah yeah I know toms is a big thing in Japan, dont want that though....I want a nice simple good looking, nice sounding exhaust I have actually seen on a car. Even though about custom, which I may do because the pipes underneatht he car are restricted, but still need the mufflers.

I'm definitely intersted if I buy one soon...
thinking about selling my 02 M3 for something in a hard top convertible....my dream car the SL55 is kinda out of my budget...haha
Anyways, do any of u have pics of the exhausts, springs and yes the sway bars?
Those 3 mods plus rims are something I would definitely want to do.
BTW, is there any other choice in rear taillights? I hate the stock ones...looks so cheasy!

When the car was on a lift for the coilover install, I took a peek at the stock swaybars. I have to admit the front one looks pretty thick already, it also looks fairly difficult to remove/replace. However, the rear one is chinsy. How much of an improvement can be done over the stock front?
