How many of you drive your SC in the snow?
I just got my Bridgestone Blizzaks put on Friday, right before we got about 6 inches of snow. I know some of you will think I'm crazy for not storing it, but I cannot believe how well it handles in the snow!
So how many of you actually live and drive in a snowy climate with your SC430?

I thought about it last year. Even cleared the driveway to get ready to go, but looking at how low the front end was compared to the snow, decided against it. Figured a SC would make a bad snowplow

Last year, I tried to drive uphill in 10 inch snow that hadn't been plowed. I mad it maybe 50 yards from my house, then got stuck. So i feel ya haha. Definitely not a plow. But in the small stuff, it hauls ***.

Haha sounds like quite an adventure. What a good looking car that was! The ECT snow in our 430's helps a lot to get up hills. But without the Blizzaks, I doubt I would get anywhere! The only downside is now the pie plates are back on

My dad even has Blizzaks on his Tundra. And even though it already has 4WD, it can literally get through anything now.

I run my SC in snow all winter. I have Michelin Alpins on for winter tires and it runs like a dream, much safer than sliding around in my pickup with its all -season tires.

Like SCDROPTOP, I too drive in the northern wastelands of Dallas. I do drive in the snow when we get it here, but it is extremely rare when there are piles of snow around here and we really don't have any steep hills. I can tell that the SC430 doesn't perform near as well as other cars that I've owned in the past in snow but it is surviveable. You just have to be very careful and patient.
