Default Ferrari California have very similar styling, shape and proportion to SC430!

I am not just talking about the retractable hardtop portion, the entire car is pretty similar.

See for yourself:

This could probably be said about a number of coupe/converts. That said, the California's sister the Maserati GranTurismo is much more similar

I am only comparing the proportion and general layout.

1, 2 door coupe with high belt line.
2, Tiny non-useable rear seat making the front seat to rear wheel distance very short
3, Wide spaced out headlights at the corner of the front end
4, Same roof line
5, High curvy bubble rear end to store the bulky retractable hardtop
6, High mounted taillights.
7, Trunk lid ducktail spoiler

Of course all the details are totally different, but the overall proportion and general layout are identical.

The GranCabrio is a 2+2 with lengthy rear leg room making the car look very long, I found that to be much more similar to a BMW 6-series convertible.

I can't think of another coupe, can you give an example? The closest I can think of is the IS350C, but the IS is much more sharp then curvy.

I say the GranCabrio got similar styling because they are sister, but shape and proportion is different. GranTurismo is a 2+2, California is a 2 seater.

The biggest similarity between the California and SC430 is the raised rear deck for the retractable hardtop.

The GranCabrio got a soft top with a flat deck, it looks more similar to a BMW 6-series convertible.

The Ferrari is much lower/stretch -- the SC looks like a Fatboy next to the California! But, they both have two doors and four wheels....

I'm not sure I would want my SC430 compared to the "Miata" of the Ferrari brand..

g37 convert. has similar lines to sc430.

but to me, both dont look anything like the California. an s2000 has body lines closer to the California than sc430.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, but that Ferrari Miata looks better than your SC430 & is much faster. It looks fast and plays the part too.

LOL....

I've always had similar height/weight (in my slimmer years) to George Clooney but I AIN'T no George Clooney, lol.

Nice analogy. I'd agree with the G37 comments...but the SC's lines are not as dramatic and robust as the Cali's.

I WISH my SC looked like that! And, while I'm wishing, I WISH I looked like Clooney and had his girls on my arm!

What I mean is how this Ferrari is known as the one that appeals to more women than men, which is what the Miata is to Mazda. Which is why I said I don't want my car, driven by a man, compared to the women's California. Has no one else ever heard that analogy?

Quick Reply: Ferrari California have very similar styling, shape and proportion to SC430!
