The first hardtop convertible??
Was surprised to see this in Road & Track mag. Here I thought the 57 ford was the first retractable hardtop. I found this article and pic and also found that the Peugeot was the first mass-produced hardtop convertable, there were many others that never made it to be mass-produced. This is the website for hardtop convertables so you can see what came before our SC's.

I had tinkered around with the Peaugot 301, 402 until I stumbled across the hudson information back in 1922!
