Do you park SC in garage with top up or down?
Most of the time, I park my SC430 with the top down. Love the way it looks when I am in the garage. I really never get tired of admiring the beauty of the convertible-inside and out!
I am more inclined to give the leather seats a wash and conditioning when it is very accessible.
Plus, it is so much easier to get things in and out of the back seat (which is now the trunk) when the top is down in the garage.
On the other hand, I rarely will leave it with the top down when it is parked outside unless it is a very short time, the weather is appropriate, and I can see the car from where I am doing business or whatever.
How do you keep your Lexus garaged (top up or down) and why?

I'm in Oregon; top up only.

TOP DOWN! The SoCal weather usually permits top down in or out of the garage. I dont think dust matters-its gets far dirtier driving top down than it does sitting in the garage top down.

90% top up. Although it's nice to look at and as others have mentioned I also like the accessibility for leather care and cleaning inside, but the black dash pad is a dust magnet. So most of the time the top is up. It's not bad to look at that way either.

Hi lila, welcome to the forum.
I always put the top up to keep the dust out.

Top up always - learned the hard way, leaving the top down outside on a previous rag top (Fiat Spyder), a very considerate person flicked their cigarette on the seats and while it didn't start the entire car on fire, burned a nice 1/2" wide by 4" section all the way through the passenger seat!

Depends on my mood. But now that I have a Luxlink, (Tip of the hat to Solman for getting Steve make them again) it doesn't matter. Love that mod.

Top up for me. I do it for my husband though, I am not so concerned with dust (I agree with Solman, the interior gets dirty anyway driving it with the top down) but he is so worried that one of the little frogs and lizards that we see around the garage occasionally, would get into the car ;-D. I love the fact that he is the one worried about that!

Top down mostly, 60%. 40% because of dust issues. Mainly because you want to look at it when the top is down!
When the top is up, it is not as pretty. Pretty plain. Just because we look at them all the time.
