Cold PSI
Just wondering what others run their non run flat tires at??
I got michelin pilot a/s plus and run them around 37.
Tire says max 51
Also I'm at about 4000 ft elevation.
Opinions as to optimal psi?

The front door says to inflate to 33 PSI and I'm assuming this PSI is at sea level. Correcting 33 PSI at sea level to 4,000 ft, would about a 2 PSI decrease, or 31 PSI. I run the same tires at around 34 PSI at, or around sea level, give or take a few feet.

Agreed, for about every 1,000 feet of elevation atmospheric pressure decreases by about a half pound.

If you inflate your tires at sea level then drive to a higher elevation, your tires will be overinflated and you'll need to let air out. But if you inflate your tires at elevation, they'll be correct. You don't need to make any adjustments.
