Remember where you live is directly affecting your rates.

We insure three cars and our home with Wawanesa. The SC cost $641 annually but is classified as a "pleasure" vehicle not a daily driver.

I've had State Farm since I was 16 years old until about four or five years ago when I discovered they were no longer competitive and over charging me. I thought wow, I've been a loyal customer since I obtained my driver's license and simply felt they were taking care of me "like a good neighbor" until I surfed on the internet one day. I initially jumped to Century 21 and then lowered my premiums even further by switching to Geico a year or two later with the exact same coverage. I'm sure if I surfed the net again I could probably lower it even further, but there is the law of diminishing return and as of now I'm content with my premiums.

Don't get me wrong State Farm has offices and people that check on the body work once it's done, and an entire team of folks that look after you. They treated me very well, but I paid a premium for it. I can live with less bells and whistles for a lesser premium.
