Default A new home for the lil SC's

I was fortunate enough to run across a man who unfortunately lost his home and was selling off his diecast collection of 25 cars. That brought my collection to 150. I have spent the last week adding (& building) 4 new cabinets to the 6 I already had. You ask what does this have to do with the sc 430?" --This is my garage that shares my SC diecast with my 02 white gold baby! I have two sets of pics that show my collection which also includes the manuals (last pic) for the SC as well as the sales brochures (right below pic of vette) of each year. Yep, finally got them all. Here goes-let me know what you think. BTW-not quite done. still need to add Leds in the cabinets and need to clean up.

Default Garage: round 2

Notice SC parking only to the left of the cabinets & SC painting to the right of the clock. The cabinets I built this week are the bottom cabinets as well as the cabinet that houses the SC's. As always my BIG SC gets in the garage EVERY night!! Do I have any competition out there?

Very nice collection indeed! I collect diecasts too, mainly European and Asian exotics and classics.

But my collection is quite modest compared to yours...

My Sc Diecasts are all from ebay. Prices ranged from $7-20. Many are higher than that, but I don't bid on those. About half of my sc's have roofs that can be put either up or down-COOL huh? Most of my other diecasts are from toy stores, craigslist, and ebay. The ones I just got were a collection of 25 and I paid less than $10, but some of them were actually worth $100. I felt very sorry for the guy-I cant imagine having to sell things you love because you are losing your house-SAD! Too bad so many are in that situation.

I'm in Southern Ca. About as far south in LA county that you can go (OC). I'm in Diamond Bar-2 miles from Brea (North OC) just off the 57. Come by anytime-we can compare SC's too.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Got to make a comfortable place for the SC to rest you know (ha ha). BTW, does anyone have any other diecast cars in colors I don't have in the 1:18 scale? Just want to know if I have a complete set. Finally got all the leds in the cabinets yesterday and will post a pic later.

Solman.....that is too cool!

You put me to shame. I have a hard time keeping junk out of my garage, much less making it a showplace! Congrats on a great display.
