It was kind of cute at the show & shine I had one gal compliment me on the beautiful custom interior and she was shocked when I told her it was totally stock original! Everyone was amazed that it is an 02 with 47k miles on it! They think it's brand new!

I received a few compliments over my month long ownership of this car at gas stations, Firestone, and a few other places. I love it, keep them coming haha.

Happened today:

I was in one of the bastions of testosterone this afternoon, The Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine, TX. Two burly cowboy type guys, in one of the biggest Ford F650 custom trucks I've ever seen, rolled down the window and said, "Man! I bet that thang is better than a hunnerd dollar bill and bottle of Jack picken up girls, ain't it?"

I just gave them the thumbs up and moved silently into my vehicle.

I love Texas.

When I get comments like that, I display the photographic evidence that the car just seems to have a knack for attracting *****.

Thanks.
Did you know that if you type in a common five letter word beginning with "P" that is often and innocently used as a synonym for kitty-cat, the software here will change the word to all asterisks?
I'm glad it did, because I think it's funnier that way.
I wonder what would happen if I typed in the same word and hyphenated it with "magnet"? Let's see:
Sometimes it seems as if the SC430 were designed to be a *****-magnet.

We were looking at flooring when the saleman was helping us bring out samples to the car and saw our SC430. We wound up talking about it for the next 30 minutes or so and he couldn't wipe the smile off of his face the whole time while looking at the car. (His girlfriend is in the market for one, so I was also passing on tips with that regard.)

This is why I love mine, even though I would like to have the speed of the Nissan R35 GTR, but I rather have the styling of the SC430 over the speed of the GTR. The GTR look cheap and ricy.

I always think the same too, i think why not a Porsche 911, why not a roush Mustang, why not even a used Supra; why not this why not that; I just crave for a more sporty drive and a boost in response and performance but it hits me when i see the shiny black SC parked in the garage after a wash with the light reflecting from the beautiful lines and i think to myself.. It doesn't get any better

Same here, every day I keep thinking I want a faster car, the SC430 is pretty slow now a days in the world of fast cars. But I just love the stylish and expensive looks of the SC430, not to mention the ultra high level of refinements and luxury. I love how soft the leather is and how much wood trims are inside! I like how the Nissan GTR drive but don't like how it looks and feels. I love the engine sounds of the SC430 too now that I made the exhaust much louder.

It sure doesn't get any better at this price. It does get better, but it takes a much higher level car to beat what the SC430 offer. In my opinion, none of the MB SL550, BMW 6-series or Audi S5 are better then the SC430. The SL55/63/65 sure are much faster, but that interior is inferior to the SC430, the leather are not as soft, much less wood in it and much more plastic. I was looking at a $150k SL63's interior and I was shocked on what I was seeing. M6 sounds really cool with that V10, but that SMG is far from acceptable and the shape is not stylish. S5 looks cool but is only a hair faster. For me, it would take an Audi R8, Aston Martin Vantage or Bentley Continental GTC to get me out of my SC430. A 911 Turbo S would do too. But all of them are far more expensive, so until I can afford those cars, I am perfectly happy with my SC430

And obviously no cars have the legendary bulletproof reliability of the SC430, being hassle free is the ultimate luxury.
