Me too mandyfig! Nothing shines better than a black car....for the few minutes it's clean I am too OCD. The G's look great on the Onyx

I guess now after seeing the G-Spiders on the white, I'm glad I went with the Tourmalines. I still love the G-Spiders...just more of a Tourmaline guy...at least against the white???

Like you I am sitting on Tourmalines. But between the 2, would get the G ones, but it does not mean I do not love the Tours. 10 wedges to clean though on the Tours, I am not complaining though, I keep that thing shining all the time.

There's a method to the madness. I use dry cloth and just wipe them down, works! Keeps them shiny and spotless clean. And of course the rubber has a triple layer of AS303, just the right amount of sheen on it.

Completely agree! Just polished my tips yesterday. It is bug-mosquito season again, hate that. But I never let the stains stay overnight. When I get home, I clean them right away, easier to remove while fresh. With the WGC, every splat shows up like like crazy. So drunk or not, I pull up my wet microfiber and scrub, scrub.

would it be much trouble to shot you SC/Spiders in your living room?
that may give us a new perspective to better judge 'em.

That is very much next on my list! Love it and I think I'll like it even more with black emblems.

Been hemming-hawing on the debage..is it easy? And the blacking out of the L will be nice....I am close to tipping point. Just do not want any surprises after they are taken out, what kind of polishing is needed.

What did you use to take them out and how?

It is an easy mod. Took about an hour but that was drinking refreshments along the way
I used a heat gun to warm up the glue behind the emblems. Then used dental floss to remove the emblems. Fishing line works too. Gently work your way back and forth. You will break some floss along the way so make sure you have plenty on hand. Once the emblems are removed there will be tape/glue left behind. This is what took me the longest. I didn't want to use a solvent or Goo-Gone on the paint so I took my time and picked at it. Once it was off, I clayed, polished, sealed and waxed the back. Looks great
There are no holes to fill on the Lexus or SC430 emblems but there are 2 pin holes on the "L" emblem. Haven't removed that one yet. I am leaning towards black pearl for the "L"
