you dont have to but you will end up having to pull the crap out of the side panels to get to the tail lights.. then on top of that those side panels tuck underneath that one so it will make life a lot easier if you just go ahead and remove it..

Thanks for the tips. The tails are in! Could have not done it without the help from the wifey, she had the smaller hands, she did all the disconnecting and connecting of the LED, while I yanked the panels.

Very happy with the result. Here's a shot:

so im doing mine right now, popped in white bulbs instead of amber since i only had one amber (yea i know its illegal!) but i have order chrome ambers off fleabay white looks so awesome!!!!!!!! Why does it have to be illegal in florida.

Getting dark so ECU will wait till tomorrow but here is the finished exterior. No Chrome Amber yet...been ordered ill be rolling with white blinkers

yea i love it, cant wait to get the chrome ambers in so im street legal...although ill say it again, i love the clear bulbs...amber is lame.

Ill post a better pic today after my ECU install.

its sooooooooooo worth it, i like that my car color was not produced with these (there was a darker blue) so my car is now even more unique, ill need to post up some better pics this weekend. Next mods are luxlink, spacers, and perhaps a body kit/ lip kit. At that point im pretty much done

So on the way home i ran into the wify..top down...sporting the new leds.

...however after this i did manage to beat her home in my is250

Better handeling/suspension!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed...after I return my loaner car (always an IS250) I kinda get bummed about the lag and the suspension on the SC compared the IS. Lexus REALLY got the IS sedan right!!!! I just wish I liked the rear end of the IS-C better
