Default Supra TT and LS400 Brake Conversion Anyone?

Has anyone else done this besides Pearlpower? I read his thread already but wanted to see particulary if anyone has done the LS400 brake conversion. It looks like you will need a bracket to fit the LS400 caliper on to our SC430. The Supra TT calipers is a direct bolt on but I think I like the looks of the LS400 more.

you will need to source or manufacture a 1in LCA spacer, this will allow the ls400 caliper to fit our cars. the LS400 has a bulkier rear side that rubs against the lower control arm. Some people have shaved down the rear of the caliper + the LCA but I would advise against that.

I would suggest the Supra upgrade, it is the easiest and will cost you less money in the end.

Supra TT is a direct fit; you just have to shave the dust-shield a little bit. They're amazing brakes for not a lot of money.

You will also need a 15mm spacer to fit the stock wheels right?

so only supra fronts will work...not the rears? I hope its not spacers needed and direct bolt on and then ill probably do this when my brakes go...did you need the rotors or can the SC ones be reused?

rears will work but its not a direct bolt on. You will need to get a bracket to make it fit.

The fronts will also require the supra rotors as well because the rotors are bigger.

If your are running stock SC430 wheels they will not clear the brake calipers. You will require spacers or like me pick up a set of stockies that will fit. I used the 3rd gen GS wheels.

any issues with just upgrading my fronts? So say I just do front rotors and front brakes...if this IS possible can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to buy and price range...im not a fan of the SC430's stock brakes.
