Default Clearmats

Wanted to share this with you all...

I had my floor mats shampooed and they looked brand new. However, I knew that would only last a while. My wife has rubber mats for her Cooper (made by Mini) and I wanted something similar for my car (that still looked nice). However, I could not find durable, nice mats.

So I found this company that makes plastic (clear) mats that are the EXACT shape and size as OEM mats. They fit right over and you can't even tell they are there but they protect your mats well.

Paid $35 for the 2 fronts for my SC.

Nice. Get some Lexus pedals and it will be prettier.

Baby steps...

I've just recently starting putting little bits into this car. New wheels, painted calipers, etc. I have a few things on my wish list I want to do - lexus pedals, keyless start, new taillights, reupholster seats, replace blow speaker in door, etc. I know the resale value on this car has dropped a lot so I'm going to keep it for a while (besides, it's a great looking car). With that in mind, I figured I'll just spend money making it the way I want it and keeping it clean and pretty.

Yup! I hate taking babysteps too but depending on what the bank account says, I sometimes don't have a choice.

Slippery? Not at all. I was worried about that but they have a matte finish.

That's good. Probably a lot easier to clean too.

Thanks for the reminder. I had them in my E320 and liked them a lot! Just ordered up a pair for my car.

I have a set of clear ones too. They have ridges for traction and to catch dirt. I have black carpet mats but I am a little OCD about dirt in the car so the all weather mats are a MUST!

I have them as well.. the only issue is Lexus/Toyota, keeps writing about double floor mats and the problem with the gas pedal sicking.

They do not want you to do that, even though it looks good.

I have the exact same clearmats in my car. I feel like they have discolored just a little - a hint of yellow. But this is after 3 years.

I like all weather mats in all my cars
