I got my MGP Caliper Covers installed yesterday and today the sun was finally shining so I thought I'd share a couple of pics :

Fake big brake calipers? On an SC430?

Your SC430 is nice and very clean, but have to say I'm not a fan of the caliper covers.

That's super fake stuff; IMO would have been 10x better to clean and paint your OEM calipers if you wanted some color back there.

Watch the wheel dust nearly disappear so you'll spend substantially less time cleaning. I like the splash of color.

Thanks for the opinions, both + and -. I'll give them a try for a while and see how I like them...they are easy enough to remove if they don't make the grade. I never really viewed them as being fake calipers...just covers to add a little splash of color and keep the brake dust down, but I see and respect others point of view as well. Thanks.

I like them and would like to know where got them and the other colors or choices available? Thanks!

I got them here: http://www.carid.com/2007-lexus-sc-c...LAID=528639225

They come in Red, Black, or Silver for the lower price and for $100 more there are a variety of other colors including painted to match your car.

I have the LS setup. Everyone has their own opinions and no disrespect rcroller but
I feel you put in $100 bucks into something that doesnt actually work. I went with the LS setup at the time as it was a inexpensive option to better braking and looked way better than the stock calipers. Search it and see if it works for you.

IMHO...I view these caliper covers as just that!
They are made to make your calipers look better and they reduce brake dust, which is a huge advantage in my eyes.
Not everyone wants or for that matter needs better braking unless you're racing your SC. I'm just your average driver who takes it out on the weekends or nice days and just wants it to look nice. I'd be the first to correct someone if they said..."wow, nice brake job!"
