I've just been using the leather treatment that the dealer markets and relabels with their name. It does okay but the leather doesn't feel or sound supple like I'd expect. (It squeaks against my leather jacket and makes the leather slick.)

I've seen several different leather treatment brands mentioned over the course of time on this forum but wanted to bring the suggestions all together here on a single thread (I did a search but didn't see a dedicated thread).

What brands do you recommend and what kind of results have you seen? I'd hate for my leather to wind up getting hard and cracking as it ages more. (I have the 2002 saddle leather.)

where Zaino, Lexol and Meguiars were recommended and I just wanted to see what folks that have used the products for a long time thought of them.

I've been using Zaino cleaner and conditioner for about a year, and I really like it. It's not really that slippery, and it smells really nice. People often say my car smells new inside.

Ive used Lexol but I hear Leatherique works well too.

I'm not married to any one brand, but have been using Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Spray for the past year and am very happy with it. It has a nice scent, leaves no streaks or greasy residue and the seats still look brand new.

We still have been really pleased with Leatherique..if you look at their web site, you will see allot of good information on vehicles that had older leather, and the results using their products.

I may try some other products, but we have been really impressed with this one.Their cleaner is really good..and works as a companion with the conditioner.

Zaino is my preference also....They also have a cleaner which works very well....Apply the Zaino "leather in a bottle" and let soak in, no wiping off after application. Smells great (if you like leather smell) also. Good luck with your choice.

I've been using Leatherique for about 7 years. I like it very much. I've also used Zaino and Lexol. Zaino has an artificial leather smell. You may or may not like that smell. My wife can't tolerate it. Lexol does a pretty good job. But I've found Leatherique to be the best for me. It's also very easy to use. The cleaner (Prestine Clean) can be used once a month to keep your leather clean, and it also conditions it. The conditioner only needs to be used two or three times per year. During the summer, I park the car outside in the sun. I apply the conditioner and let it bake in all day. It really works great.
