Red face Solution for the Radio Replacement

I just purchased Lexus SC430 2002 and the GPS has the “No Disk Detected” error and the CD unit is giving me the “Error 003” message. Due to fact that the GPS is outdated and the CD player wouldn’t be used anyway (plus replacement is beyond costly)…... The key here is the tape and audio player.. They both work. My Android smartphone has every option plus more that I would ever need (GPS, Music Player, ect.) . A successful solution I have used on other vehicles that I have owned is using Soundfly BT Ultimate Bluetooth Car Fm Transmitter unit. Instead of using the FM Transmitter (which is unpredictable) I also purchased a cassette device which channels the sound via the Lexus radio (SoundFly has an audio out jack). Also I use the Bluetooth to transmit the Android smartphone audio to the Soundfly and then out to radio. It works and sounds great! Also the SoundFly is integrated to your cell phone and the hands free can be utilized playing calls through the radio (a mic is included). The Bluetooth is automatically connected when you start the car…. Also the SoundFly will play SD and USB Thumb drives … I use the USB port to power my cell phone.

The installation doesn’t look bad, I used the console plug next the ash tray and removed the ash tray and now use it for storage (sunglasses) I also purchase some “L” adapters for wire management.

Link for SoundFly…
