Default 699 a month 0 down lease....

a local Toyota dealer is offering a Red SC430 at this price. Would this be a good deal, it's got a few miles on it but really it's been sitting in their lot since the SC430 was released, what do you guys think? What is Lexus lease plan like? What are your plans? Thanks guys, if I decide to quit my epic search for the "right" Supra I'm going to go for this.

If you are okay with red then take it quick. With SC430 prices jumping up supposedly (I'm not sure if this is just smoke to get people to keep buying so close to years end) I would take it in an instant. That is real cheap. Did they offer it to you at that price after the credit check? If not then don't be surprised if it gets $200/mo higher all of a sudden. The $699 might be for someone near an 800 credit score. Mine is crappy at 731 but I made mistakes in college a few years back.

Default well...

I would put it in my dads name and he own multiple businesses and property. No problem with credit....

Besides, this is some cheapo Toyota dealer, it's being advertised in the paper at 699 0 down.....I just hope it's not for like 10 years or somthing....

Red is actually my preferred color, that or black.....I already have a black car and a red sports car is gorgeous....

My car is coming in next week and I recently asked my dealer to give me lease quotes. Rates were as follows for a lease with no cap reduction (cash due at closing of 1 months leae payments + $600).

36 month : $959
39 month $937
42 month: $890

Numbers include 6% CT sales tax.

Bottom line-- that is a great price.

When I got mine in December they were going for $1060 a month. Id be a little skeptical of such a deal, there is probably a reason why it has been sitting there forever. It may just be a good buy though, but thats not the way my mind works. It may have been totalled or something. Or you may hve to put like 3000-6000 down, I know many places do this. Bottom lne is id be very skeptical. Why would someone be trading in an SC430 at a Toyota dealership. Lost their job and had to buy an MR2...just my two cents.

No one under the age of 25 should be allowed to own a car that costs more than $30,000.

What's a couple of miles? Might have been a demo off the lot in that case. Sounds like a great deal just curious why no one has made a move on it as of yet. You sure its a "CLEAN" car?
Puzzling even with the red color and all. I happen to agree with LexusSC430 on this one.

Hhahahha....I'm gonna break that rule more than a few times before I'm 25....I already have. Don't be upset because you couldn't be such an aspiring entreprneur as me when you were my age and own a sexy lexi .

Alright fellas, this is what it came down to. The red one is gone . It's a Silver with 10,000 miles. The plan is for a 60 month lease, the guy said I could work a 24 month lease and the payments would not be considerably higher. I'm gonna go for a test drive....I don't know...silver, I think it's too bland or dull for a car like that. We'll see....either it grows on me during that test drive or you guys get a shot at the car. PM me if you want info in case I don't get it.

Hey maybe I can lease it out for a couple months and thow it on swapalease.com for 1000 to buy the lease .

Thanks for all the input guys.

God I wish it was red or black....

It sounded like a great deal, but to me, to get the best Lexus experience, you have to go with a Lexus warranty, ESPECIALLY since this is a first-year run for the SC.

Now on my 2nd one, I've found that owning a Lexus (as with any top-notch vehicle) is not inexpensive. Excellent maintenance for an excellent car is crucial. It's the reason why people think they are perfect -- Lexus service keeps them that way.
