Old wheels or new wheels

I am Dutch and the car is Dutch to, it is original in Europe I think.
All cars have it over here. Some integrated in the side mirrors.

We're wondering about the marker on the fender just behind the front wheel about two o'clock position. Would you mind taking a close-up photo of it. It's about the same spot where Lexus puts its Pebble Beach badge if you have that model.

They are second hand, newly powdercoated at my local Lexus store (in the Netherlands). I was looking for new tires. There was another Lexus on the lift with nice wheels so I told the mechanic to put those wheels under my own Lexus. (just for fun). He told me someone changed his old wheels for new ones and now they are for sale, if he could find them...
He did and I am happy.
Sometimes you have to be lucky.
They have a real nice and frendly mechanic. Explains every stupid question I asked hem. Always looking for solutions both party's are happy with. Not thinking "how can I empty the wallet of the client as soon as possible" When in trouble he always have time for me.
In Holland we have the "Lexus Red Carped treatment" and my dealer is really good with this. I also drive a Smart car (=Mercedes) well they come not even close to the service level of Lexus...

Somehow I think my Lexus service manager may have attended a different training camp. Although the service advisors are willing to answer occasional questions you probably won't be talking with a technician. And they're highly trained at extracting the contents of your wallet in every imaginable way. I am most envious of your wheel deal. Still suck here with pie plates...

rexio not only lucky, but timing, timing is everything. Go down the block one minute and there is no parking, one minute later there is one right in front. Timing!!!!
