Default Anyone tried Bass Rockers BRM69v2 speakers ?

I was wondering if anyone has tried these as a replacement for the door speakers. https://bassrockers.com/products/mid...peaker-brm69v2 Question is will they fit?

The depth might be a risk, the magnet looks pretty thick

Check out this review on Amazon from Debbie, she even has a pic of the speaker installed in her Lexus door.
I don’t know the Lexus model.
Also, Amazon suggested another 8ohm 6x9 speaker that might be worthwhile.

Kicker DS Series 6x9" 3-Way Car Speakers 43DSC69304 is what I used, fits no problems, so you can reference to that sizing

Looked at these and there are several versions with adapter kits, camaro, Malibu, F150. Did you purchase a specific one?

I didn't need any adapter kits, it's 6x9 so all the screw holes match up, drops right in

Pretty much, I did the extra step of cutting the old connector and wiring out of the old factory speaker and soldered it into the kicker + - terminal so it's 100% like factory installation and retains the factory quick disconnect plug. If you're speaker sounds crackly, flappy and no bass most likely it's blown. On my car the drivers speaker wasn't even connected cuz it was blown. The old owner must have heard the speaker and unplugged it, I dunno why you would go through all of the hassle of removing the door panel to unplug the speaker and not replace it

Hack it all out and start fresh! Stock "premium" speakers are made from garbage materials that can't last 20 years. I replaced the 6x9 lows in the doors only to have the mids in the upper doors to explode. Then the sub tore apart. Trying to find 6ohm replacement drivers is horrible when 4ohm are a dime a dozen. Everything is wired like a tweaker got ahold of it for the nav (which is useless). Same as the rear seat! pioneer deh80-prsddaudio c5dddaudio b series mids ctd tweetsplanet audio pa4002planet audio 12s fiberglass sealed enclosurea whole bunch of 4ga ofc.sound damping all over everythingsealed off trunk as best as possiblestill need to come up with a fancy cover for the rear wall with some serious sound damping (that rear seat is magic for killing sound). I've got the entire stock stereo, with amp and nav stuff along with all the blown speakers and 1 of those expensive adapters to use an aftermarket hu while keeping some of the steering wheel controls. All working when pulled if anybody is interested?

Talked to a tech at Kicker. They no longer have a 8ohm 6x9 speaker available. What other 8 ohm options fit the door of our car?

Just about any 6x9 will fit. Doors are pretty deep. Keep in mind it's a 3-way front stage. You want a "mid-bass," driver to replace the stock. The way these systems are wired you should stay away from any co-ax 2-way or 3-way speakers. Look into, "pro audio," rather than, "car audio," and you shouldn't have a problem finding replacements for any of the drivers in any impedence you'd like.
