VietPrince,
I've seen your car with your Avus in chrome through CL. I always wAnted to tell you to drop those wheels. They did not go well with your MN IMo. I'm glad you're getting new set . Please stick with 20" for better ride/protection. 21" will bring your low profile tires down to 25 series. This will not protect ur new set over pot holes. Also, you have dropped ur car with lower springs. It will be hard to adjust them right. Last, you stil have factory brakes. Open style wheels wouldn't look good. Chrome lips with brushed face would look very classy on ur NM. My next set most likely Will be Work VsXX. My two cents.....take care VietP

"racing hart CX or CR's
you can find them on ebay
trust me"
To avoid vibrations, fitment issues...please have your new set ordered. Also VietP, your NM is a luxury cruiser, not a racer, please do not put some "ricey racey" wheels on her. I'm not gonna put on some work boots on while wearing a suit. MY three cents

I've always been a fan of either Work wheels or Vossens. I would suggest going with 20s from Vossen. A 5 split-spoke set would look incredible IMO. Keep us updated!

thanks for all the info guys! i honestly think i'll be buying a used set since i see so many people selling 3pc 20s for like 1500 or so. brushed face and chrome lip is what im looking for but i cant be too picky buying used. wished i lived in cali with soo many used wheels being sold over there but i guess Florida does have a good amt of used wheels going around. im aiming to stay under 3000 with tires all said and done.
just an FYI, our car fits Benz wheels coming of the SL and CLS, just need special lugs to adjust from the 5x114 to 5x112. my friend has a set of CLS wheels on his LS and it fits beautifully. im aiming at benz owners with HRE wheels. crossing my fingers a deal will come by.
i'll keep everyone posted when i get lucky....

personally, i'd try g35driver.com for used wheels. g35s have similar offsets. so their wheels usually fit our cars nicely. i'm not sure what the offsets are on the SL, but i suspect they're more conservative. their wheels wells are smaller too. i'd be surprised if you find many 20s. 19s are probably more common. even then, i rarely see a benz with custom wheels. i'd also worry about vibration trying to retrofit a different lug pattern.
ps... I took a quick look and saw these on the first page. No curb rash. New tires. And they're in Florida. He's asking $2,600. You could probably have the faces refinished and come in under budget. Or if you keep looking, I'm sure there are more on there.

I'm always liquid's opposite...I like new and cheap wheels, but since you asked I'll post my top five. You all must have hit the gold boom I just missed or something! I swear you can get a GREAT set of rims/tires under $2k!! I like the $1500 range. I personally wouldn't buy used wheels maybe if they were perfect or take offs, but definitely not the tires...it would be like buying used shoes for your feet.
Some a great bargain, big lip, all staggered and one out of the box idea (may be a little too pimp, I don't know) that I think would look fabulous on NM/PB cars! Certainly the Asanti are a stretch both for budget and boldness.
