SC Sales News...

Yesterday, I had my LX serviced at my local Lexus Dealership, and when I asked the sales mgr., he said that originally, the SC was due to be shelved after 2010, but lately there's been chatter that it'll be redesigned and all-new for '12 or '13. Considering the low sales volume, though, I would take this with a large grain of salt....
It's because they decided not to significantly upgrade the car for too long that resulted in the low sales volume of the last few years ...
A totally redesigned new one should do at least as well as the new SC430 did when it was first introduced ...

SC430 sales volume wasn't low in it's first few years, 14K units/year first couple years, and ~10k units the next couple.

I understand the peace of mind that comes with buying brand new. BUT the price difference does not justify for buying new. its a toyota, these things dont break down. normal maintenance isn't that expensive either. im a fan of buying used. as you can see im loving my 8 year old car that looks even better than what currently in the lexus showrooms yet i paid less than half the price.
