Default front end mask for 2006

I just purchased a 2006 and I am being told that Lexus does not have a front end mask for this model year and up. Does anyone know of any alternative?

Many Lexus dealers offer a commercial product that is relatively invisible, believe it's manufactured by 3M, applied by certified techs. It's not cheap, but very effective. Have seen many other brands on EBAY, just GOOGLE car masks and various products should come up. Currently there is a front end bra for a SC going for 25.00 (auction price) on EBAY. Good Luck

If you are just looking to protect your front end from rock and other debris damage, then there are a few companies that make a protective film that you can put on or have put on your front end and mirrors that is supposed to do a really good job at just that. A lot of body shops will do this for you or even your Lexus dealer's shop. Here are a couple of links about it:

I'm sure that there are others. The nice thing about the film is that you can't even tell it is there. You can wash it and wax (or whatever) just like it was paint. You'll have a hard time finding the edge even.

Yep, I've heard very good things about the film but I believe they recommend having the front end and bumper repainted before putting it on. Is that what you've heard, Harold?

I ordered a front end cover (bra) from Colgan. They assured me it would fit and they guarantee their products. I really don't want to have a clear film put on.

No I haven't heard that but it makes sense if you have pits in your paint from rocks. Of course, I haven't asked either. I was just getting quotes on having it done over a new bumper cover.
