Ok all of our intake experts on how to gain more power at the wheels. I saw this item listed on Ebay. Want some opinions as to if you think its worth while

It might give a bit more power when the coolant's hot, but I'll bet the car won't run as well when it's cold, don't you think? I do know that's an old trick, goes back to musclecar days and probably beyond.

Don't waste your money on that mod. It will NOT make any meaningful difference in power output. Their claim of .3 sec quarter mile E.T. reduction is absurd as is their claim of 4-8 WHP gains. The charge air temperature under moderate to wide open throttle is not dependent upon the temperature of the throttle body, which is a hollow device that the air is simply passing through -- there's very little heat transfer to the charge air via it's momentary contact with the walls of the throttle body.

LOL, a gain of 4-8HP does not equate to shaving off 0.3 seconds in the 1/4. That should have been the red flag, right there.
