Is there any difference between denatured alcohol and regular alcohol? I have the latter at home already, but if it helps with adhesion, I'll pick up the denatured.

Denatured alcohol is >90% alcohol and the regular home alcohol is 70% alcohol. For cleaning purpose, I would think they are pretty much the same.

Great info....thanks!

I wish I could find one of these that I knew for sure would work with my red leather. It doesn't need anything yet, but I'd like to know something's available when that time comes. And it WILL come, eventually.

Oh, and in looking around for my red, I ran across this site that sells these paints even cheaper....

Are we still not sure if they make one for saddle?

Time to do this, too.

Been itching to clean up the seats.

Amazon does not carry it anymore.

That upholstery place is probably best bet.

How do I tighten the gap between the two plastic detail pieces on the door side of the seat? I see from your (great by the way) paint refurbish that you have a similar problem. Note the gap between the two pieces at the VERY bottom of your photo vs. the tight fit of the two pieces at the top of the page.
I try squeezing them back together but that wont hold. My gap issue is on the driver door side of the seat and it pinches me when I slide in wearing shorts...very annoying. It's getting worse over time. 2007, but problem started to appear about 12-18 months ago and getting worse.

click click click clunk clunk...If you have someone stand outside the vehicle and WATCH carefully inside/through the wheels you may see the piece (sorry I don't know what it's called...maybe rotor related? )move. It actually travels around in there while the car rides down the road and you won't hear it, but if you crawl along in the driveway/parking lot you can hear it. It's not a problem and is supposed to do that. The noise occures as the part travels over the top of the wheel, then "slides" a tad before landing click click clunk clunk, then continues on around the lower part and bottom of the wheel. Like traveling over the top of a farris wheel and free-falling a second as you crest the top before the gears catch up to bring you back down.
