My 2002SC430, 64K miles, emits some bluish smoke on cold starts. It has always been maintained by the Lexus dealer, runs perfectly, and recently passed a smog test. I have an appointment at the dealer in a week, but this seems like an uncommon problem in this engine.

Have any of you had this issue, and what should I expect from the dealer? Of course, the warranty has expired. Does Lexus ever take care of problems like this even tho the warranty has expired?
