Well folks, after 13 years of owning this beauty, I must say that it's still a unique and luxurious ride.
Finally, got some new shoes for my baby.

I can see what the lip is now. iamsam9, can you post more pix on the rear & full frontal to get the whole view. I can see the difference below the doors, as well as the logo where the "L" for Lexus goes. What is it?

WALD KIT (Executive Line) - Made in Japan
front lip, side skirts and rear lip (fiberglass)
side black fender labels (Executive Line) - to identify a type of WALD KIT
"Sports Line" and/or "Executive Line"
front "L" emblem replaced with "Griffin" emblem which coincides with "Soarer".
Pre 2005, Toyota in JAPAN was using their own branded non Lexus logo/models.
SC300/400 platform was SOARER and GS platform was ARISTO and LS platform was CELSIOR
and IS platform was ALTEZZA and so on.
During & After 2005, Lexus started to introduce their own branded models (such as the LS, IS, ES, GS, RX and SC430) to their home origin county of JAPAN, which ended the domestic sales of the same equilavent Totyota models mentioned above.
More info on the conception of the "L" which came to be and the separation of Lexus (after 2005) from their partent compnay, Toyota, which led to an increased globalization of their original F1 project idea from the the early 1980's to other car manufcaturers as well.

I hope this helps...thanks...sam
