Yup just a cover. Matches (somewhat) my carbon fiber interior wrap on all wood grain pieces. I have a matching gear shift but bought a second oem shifter and painted it gloss black. Originally had the steering wheel wrapped in same CF too but it didn't last. Started to peel. I will rewrap it soon and place the joint on the outer side of the wheel and continue to use the steering wheel cover. Just been so busy lately. Lots of projects on hold (Supra BBK, Android Screen Mirror, Leather Reconditioning, Clay Bar, Rock Chip Repairs, etc).

Why would you cover the best looking steering wheel ever made?

Hahaha, I know it was a tough decision. Since my interior is already wrapped in anthracite carbon fiber, I just wanted to keep everything as close to matching as I could. With the wheel being the only wood grain left I wanted to complete the interior in full.

In my house of worship of SC430, the only mods that are not sacrilegious are wheels and tires.
Speaking of which, I wish more tire companies would make AS-type 295/35R18 tires. Wide rubber in the back still brings a smile to my old and wrinkled face.
