Default 2008 SC430 w/ Nav aux solution?

Hi, I have searched the forums and some people have solutions for a aux adapter with the other year sc430s. but they didn't have the nav. I am wondering who has the 2008 model with the nav that has made, or bought a adaptor cause I coudn't find any. I found older links, in my search and would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks

-Craig

Default Vaistech

Unless you live in Hawaii, all SC430's in the US have nav. The vaistech SLI unit has both an ipod connector and an Aux connector -- I chose this unit in my 2006 over the newer SL2I unit they make because I wanted both the IPOD direct connect and the AUX input. As far as controlling the ipod using the NAV, there is no "easy" solution short of a carputer. The VAIS allows you to switch tracks and switch playlists using the radio/steering wheel controls, and sounds great, but it doesn't work like the do on the newer Lexus Nav units (even the '09 SC430 has an older Lexus Nav model. Lot's of prior posts on how to install the Vais.
Hope this helps,
-Rob
