Thanks, I went with the blackberry because I liked its 2-way synch to my outlook better than other phones. It was closest to my old palm centro phone.

What comes out of the unit are two rca cables? I assume like everyone else, you’d need an adapter to connect it to your phone?

Tunelink. Google it can't type it all out on my phone. Pretty awesome quality Bluetooth & FM modulator combo.

no you get two inputs not wires so you will need one of these:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Hosa+Tec...8912224&st=3.5 to rca&cp=1&lp=3

one end goes to the SLU and the other to the 3.5mm jack on your phone or ipod

then you have an extra one you can do whatever with, I also bought a NAV tool which gives you two video inputs one is automatically triggered by going into Reverse from drive so I used that for a back up camera and the other for a media player. The media player's audio cables run to my 2nd set of aux rca inputs and now I have ipod/multi media player (i play videos off my hard drive but you can use a dvd player), and a back up camera. Camera was like 75, slu was 130, nav tool was like 250 and install was like 200 so not cheap but im happy with it. If your just looking for sound do the SLU only and that install you can do on your own, the 200install was simply to install navtool/back up camera/ and media player.

Default 2006 SC430 Ipod connection

Having great connectivity for my iPod is one of the very first things I check when buying a new car. Thankfully most new cars that I have looked at have some form of integration from mini jack to USB, to Bluetooth. I wanted something for my 2006 SC430 that would not look like a patched on solution but delivered sweet sound.

After studying up on the subject here, I decide to buy the GROM IPD3 iPod/iPhone integration kit. I could not be happier. I ordered it with a cable that provides a USB charging end and a mini stereo plug. Both will plug into the iPod and play through the factory radio.

After pulling the trim parts off, (Good YouTube videos on this from several people) I decided to make a modification and ordered a Rerii 1 Meter USB AUX and mini stereo flush mount kit.

I removed the cigarette lighter and enlarged the hole slightly with a Dremel tool to fit the Rerii adaptor. I also cut the ashtray light socked off the lighter and glued that in place to retain use of the ashtray light. (if you don't need that, just skip that part)

After connecting all the cables and replacing the trim pieces, I now have a nice clean look with the USB and mini stereo jacks hidden behind the ashtray door. Using short cables to connect to the iPod, I now have a great sounding system. One bonus tip. I bought a Nite Ize Steelie Ball Mount for the iPod. A small magnetic disc sticks to the back of the iPod and a small steel ball goes on the dash with 3M tape. The iPod is attracted to the ball and you have full swivel feature with easy access.

Default GROM Ports

The GROM adaptor unit itself is small and has two EXT ports. You then select a cable to meet your needs. I selected the USB and Mini stereo jack and then used my own USB to iPod adaptor for charging the iPod.

GROM just came out with a new unit that has the two EXT ports plus a USB port so I assume you could just plug your Android unit into the USB port. Check them out at GROMAUDIO.COM
