You must have missed the Service Bulletin. This is a SPELLING FREE ZONE (appreviated SFZ). We're just interested in exchanging info and ideas.

Solman,
That is a fantastic deal. I take it you financed the vehicle through them thus the insurance or is this available separately?

Default Kind of

I did have a loan until I sold one of my other vehicles. Fortunately,I had the loan just long enough to buy the breakdown insurance. But, you are right-I could not buy the extension on my new infiniti EX because it was not financed through them. Thanks to the infiniti 6 yr/zero financing and no money down, so the credit union was out on that deal. If you are in the position, dealers are indeed dealing.

Default warranty

Hey guys Im a new member, and I used to work for Toyota/Lexus Extra care doing the warranty claims for mechanical breakdown like what was mentioned they are an insurance policey, but especially with these Lexus's almost one trip to the dealer pays for the warranty, and if you know how to work the warranty you can get lots of things that are considered wear items covered, like struts and mounts. Go into the dealer 6 months or so before the warranty expires and COMPLAIN that the ride sucks and you bought a Lexus and a Platinum warranty and there's a good chance that you'll atleast get your money back out of the warranty.

Also the warranties are honored anywhere in the country; and I've personally seen this; call dealers from across the country and ask them to sell you a warranty, and most of the time you can get a hell of a discount cause the dealers want to make their sales numbers higher and will sell it slightly over cost, and the dealer cost on warranties usually for our cars is 800-1100

Honestly if my car was still eliagable for a warranty I would have bought one when I bought my car and then made full use of it before it was over
