Spare tire substitution
I have recently purchased a 2002 SC430 and want to get the compact spare. I have found one that is used but it is 125/70/17 not the OEM size of 145/70/17. Can I use that one? It is about 1/3 the price.

There's a few threads on the spares that are compatible. You can find them with a search. I will tell you that it is not just the size of the tire and hub but also the lug hole pattern and sizes. Some are in the Lexus/Toyota family but several are not.
