Default Replacing the driver door lock/cover

Looks like an attempted break-in, but I currently don't have a lock or cover next to the door handle on the outside of my driver door. I am thinking of just replacing the cover without replacing the lock. Is that possible?

I'm guessing replacing the lock and having a locksmith match it with my current key will not be cheap and I would probably never use the key on the driver door unless I wanted to roll up the window or if my battery died on my remote (If the battery died that cover coming off allows me to easily turn the lock manually without a key anyways).

Only reason I am replacing it is the fact that there is an empty hole where the lock and cover should be now...and without that cover being there, the outside door handle slips out if you pull it towards the right.

Any thoughts as to whether I'll be able to replace just the cover? By the way, what is that part called on the outer portion of lock, next too the handle... If someone one has access to a part number, that would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

I've pulled up my copy of the service manual (section 76, page 6). It refers to that part as the "Door Outside Handle Cover Assy with Key Cylinder".

Don't have a part number, unfortunately.
